Yesterday, at 9.00 pm, we had the New Moon in Virgo. It was a powerful beginning of the new lunar month. While in the dark of the Moon, we were zapped with the energy of almost all major planets and points. We have the power now, to release anxieties, fears, and illusions so we can start a more productive and grounded period. Although, we are still dealing with uncertainty, confusion, and informational chaos, we can use the discerning quality of analytical thinking as well as the logic of the ‘middle path’ to move us forward. At this moment, the Universe is asking us to pause and gain needed perspective, so the sacrifices we have made are not done in vain. Something new is being born and we are not able to fully perceive it yet; we need time to get in tune with it. Having a break, does not mean that we cannot be productive and industrious. It means that we should look at the circumstance from a different than usual viewpoint. Choose generosity and compassion and let it permeate every chore you do and every responsibility you have to tackle. We are giving birth to something new and as every birth, it is messy, painful, and full of strife, but also full of wonder and awe; a joyous anticipation.
The Sun and Moon in Virgo during the yesterday’s New Moon were making aspects with Venus, the Nodes of the Moon, Saturn and Pluto, Mars, the Black Moon Lilith, Eris, Uranus, and Neptune. On Tuesday, at 11:31 pm, The Sun will enter Libra marking the Equinox and the astronomical spring, here in Melbourne. On Thursday, there will be the First Quarter Moon in Capricorn. The Moon will square the Sun in Libra, sextile Juno in Scorpio as well as Ceres in Pisces, sesquiquadrate Venus and Vesta in Leo, trine the Black Moon Lilith and Mars in Aries and square Chiron in Aries.
